best laid plans

In my last update, I tried to explain our plans to the best of my ability without giving everything away. The reasoning behind this is that I don't trust you. Now, when I say you I mean you as a collective internet. I'm sure the individual you is actually a pretty great person. You probably volunteer and donate to community efforts. You pay your taxes every year honestly and on time. I've even heard that you've helped an old woman or two across the street. You're really great. But, get enough of you together and it's a danger zone for ideas.

The other reason for being so closed-lipped about this whole thing is because its going to take us a while to figure out how the hell we are going to pull this off. We are normal people, with normal income and normal responsibilities. We have huge goals that we have set for ourselves and our biggest restrain is time and money. The last thing we want to do is to make promises and never deliver.

I've spent some time pondering these ideas and I've decided to loosen my grip on the figurative veins through which our website ideas pulse. Here we go!

Each contributing member of this project has a shared dream or result of our efforts but when we disused planning, our particular interests varied. We decided to have one, overarching "umbrella" name under which all of our prospective areas dwell. Unmuted Gaming is that "umbrella".

My area under this umbrella is Over Reviewed. The name is fairly self-explanatory but in this space you will find pieces focused on games that have had their moment in the spotlight, been reviewed, updated and fallen to the wayside. The fact is, few gamers find themselves in a position to buy every game when it comes out. This leaves some really entertaining games in the "I'll come back to this one" category. My focus is to give these games another look to remind us they are there and more importantly, let you know if its worth your time to dive into them.

This is only a minute crumb of the delicious game-related pastry that we will be working towards. Be sure to check back often for updates and my first Over Reviewed on Ubisoft's first entry in the groundbreaking franchise, Assassin's Creed.

Thanks for stopping by and leave any thoughts in the comments. Any, and every beautiful thought your brilliant mind can conjure. And remember, we love you very dearly.
